What makes the LegalNexus Employee Assistance Program different?

What does OUR program offer to employees.?
The LegalNexus Employee Assistance program, in focusing on the provision of legal and financial assistance provides the employee with the following assistance:
1. Legal advice and assistance
Qualified and admitted in house attorneys will provide the employee with advice and assistance on any legal matter sought. The legal advisor will also physically do the work necessary to positively resolve the employee’s legal challenge. This will include but not be limited to drafting of correspondences to third parties, informal negotiations, telephonic enquiries on behalf of the employee, etc.
2. Litigation cost cover
LegalNexus will pay the employee’s legal cost for the following;
• Divorces
• Maintenance matters
• Rescission of Judgments / Administration orders listed on ITC
• Criminal appearances, i.e reckless and negligent driving, assault, etc
• Civil suits, i.e poor workmanship, breach of contract, etc
• Family related matters, eg Custody / Access right applications
3. Financial Advice
The employee will have access to registered financial advisors to provide assistance with financial / budget planning, provision of financial advice, etc.
4. Funeral cover
The employee, his / her spouse and children under the age of 21 years will be covered for up to R10 000 in the event of death of any of the employee’s family members.
5. Tax Advice and Assistance
The employee and his / her spouse will have access to registered tax practitioners to provide assistance with any tax related enquiry including assistance with annual tax returns
6. Counseling Services
The employee and his / her family will have access to qualified and registered counselors in all fields of psychology. Counseling services offered ranges from trauma, bereavement, addiction and marital to HIV Aids and more.
7. Who is covered
The employee, his / her spouse and 4 children under the age of 21 years will enjoy full cover as per the benefits stated above.
8. Additional professional services
We offer our clients various professional assistance clinics that range from legal, chronic disease management, Healthcare days, On-site counseling in the event of retrenchments, etc. These are separately planned in conjunction with the clients’ HR department and are separately billed.
Our programs are flexible and benefits are customized according to the Employers needs. Pricing is based on volume and benefit structure selected.
